Crystal Palace defender Paddy McCarthy may be fit to face Coventry in two weeks' time according to Eagles manager Neil Warnock.
McCarthy sustained a dislocated shoulder in training last week and there had been fears he would be out for months rather than weeks.
But Warnock has revealed that he may return for the trip to the Ricoh Arena on November 21.
"We are optimistic that Paddy will be available after the international break and could play up at Coventry," Warnock told the club's official website.
"It will be a big boost for us to have him back in the squad.
"He is such a big presence in that back line that it is no coincidence that when he plays well we play well."
