Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of Charlton Athletic midfielder Therry Racon on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old, who joined Charlton in August from French side Guingamp, has not figured for the Addicks since Boxing Day and could make his Seagulls debut in the League One clash with Swindon at the Withdean Stadium on Saturday.
"A number of French clubs would like to take him on loan, but I want him to learn the game here because he is a big part of my long-term plans," said Charlton manager Alan Pardew.
Brighton boss Dean Wilkins was forced into the emergency loan market after Adam El-Abd suffered a medial-knee ligament injury at Huddersfield on Tuesday night.
