Charlton boss Alan Pardew has rubbished reports that Chelsea have demanded the return of Scott Sinclair due to a lack of action at The Valley.
The 19-year-old midfielder is yet to start a game for the Addicks since his loan move on February 28 and has made just three substitute appearances since his arrival.
"I've been speaking to Chelsea about this because it's difficult for him to come into a side that is not playing an expansive game," Pardew told the Kent Messenger.
"Chelsea are aware of my thoughts on this matter and I'm confident that Scott will stay."
