Charlton youngster Grant Basey has been added to the Wales Under-21 squad to face England on Thursday.
The left-back has been called up from the standby squad after Manchester City's Ched Evans and Rhys Wiliams of Middlesbrough were forced to pull out.
Basey signed a new three-year contract at The Valley two weeks ago after a successful breakthrough season.
He will now be looking to make his international debut at Wrexham's Recreation Ground.
