Portsmouth defender Linvoy Primus is keen to join former club Charlton on loan in order to get some games, according to the veteran's agent.
The 34-year-old has not played a first-team game in almost 15 months, his last appearance coming against Arsenal on the final day of the 2006-7 season, due to a knee injury which has required two major operations.
He is due to feature for the reserves against Fulham on September 1, after overcoming a groin injury which has delayed his comeback, but could make a loan switch to the Addicks, where he began his career in 1992.
Primus' agent John Mac told The News: "Linvoy needs to get some games, so is looking to go to Charlton. He needs to get fit first and then we will sort something.
"The fact is he needs to play football and get 10-15 games under his belt. He still has a future at Pompey, though. This isn't the end for him. He played games in pre-season and is a part of things still."
