Toffees set to visit Gigg Lane

Bury will host Everton in a pre-season friendly at Gigg Lane on Friday, July 10 to kick off the club's 125th anniversary celebrations.

Toffees boss David Moyes has promised to send a strong squad to Lancashire for the match, which will be the first meeting between the sides in two years.

A pre-season clash in 2007 saw Everton win 1-0 with a goal courtesy of a goal from debutant Lukas Jutkiewicz.

Next Friday's match will kick off at 7.45pm.
