Everton, Aston Villa, Fulham and West Brom are all reportedly interested in signing the 21-year-old Wales international, who featured heavily for club and country this season.

But Hennessey appears determined to continue his fledging career under the shrewd guidance of Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.

"I went in to see the gaffer at the end of the season and it was all positive, so we'll see what happens next season," Hennessey told the Express and Star.

"So far I'm staying and if I've got a Wolves shirt on, I'll try my best for Wolves.

"It's nice to hear clubs are coming in for me but I will keep trying my best, whoever I'm playing for. I'm confident I can continue my development at Wolves, definitely."
