Bjorn Helge Riise intends to leave Fulham manager Roy Hodgson with little option but to pick him on a regular basis.
The Norway international played in both Europa League matches against Roma, when he came up against his brother, John Arne, the former Liverpool player.
Riise, though, has managed only one appearance in the Barclays Premier League and wants more as the Cottagers prepare for a return to domestic action at Birmingham.
"I have to take every chance that I get, so if it is the Europa League or a training match, I just have to play my best in the chances I get," Riise told the club's official website.
"I am going to work hard in training and then the manager will pick out the best team.
"That is part of the team game, when you play with so many good players like you do at Fulham, you just have to train hard, do your best and at some point you will get your chance - and then you have to take it."

"Bjørn Helge should really get more chances, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fellow norwegian :P He's shown us all that he has a great work rate, always trying to get the ball, and with more first-team experience he can be even better than his more famous brother. U go Bjørn, we all cheer for you back home :)"
