Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies expects opposite number Gordon Strachan to have Middlesbrough fit and firing for Saturday's Riverside game.
Boro are yet to win in the league since former Celtic boss Strachan took charge last month.
Davies expects Boro to turn that form around soon under the stewardship of his fellow Scot.
"Gordon is Gordon - he's a tremendous character and a very committed manager," Davies told the club's official website.
"He's been in the game a long time and knows what it's all about. One thing he won't be doing at the moment is panicking.
"He's very calm and he'll be very astute at what he does. We don't expect an easy game and don't expect any favours. We've got to go there and do what we have done all season: compete, make sure we're putting pressure on their back four and goal and defend very well throughout the match."
