Ferdinand unsure of Hammers future

Anton Ferdinand is unsure of his future despite holding talks with boss Alan Curbishley - but Mark Noble is "happy" to stay at West Ham.

Centre-back Ferdinand has been linked with a summer departure, with Aston Villa and Newcastle believed to be interested.

The 23-year-old has insisted he is content with the Hammers, but admits his future remains unclear.

"I don't know what is happening. I am happy at West Ham and until I get told I am not a West Ham player I remain a West Ham player," he told Sky Sports News. "Hopefully that will get resolved soon. I had a little chat with him (Curbishley) this morning, which went well and now we are looking to see where we can go from here."

Midfielder Noble, meanwhile, has rubbished recent press reports linking him with a move to The Emirates.

"Talk about the way I play is flattering, but I want to concentrate on West Ham," the 21-year-old said.

When asked if he was set to join Arsenal this summer, Noble replied: "No, I think it is just rumours. I am happy where I am."

"toonbaby; "no better than Taylor or Faye?!" I would rather have Michael Owen and Damien Duff playing centre back than this waster. He's living off his name and his attitude stinks. Exactly the type of player we dont want and are doing well at getting rid of at SJP."

"I don't know why we are linked with him again, he is no better that Taylor or Faye, although we do need squad cover."
