Pompey face Championship outfit Cardiff at Wembley next weekend as they bid to become the first side from beyond the big four to win the cup since 1995.

But despite a poor run of results, the Icelandic defender insists the team go into the match brimming with confidence.

He said: "We're not worried about our form going to Wembley - not really.

"We've had three defeats in a row, but there's no crisis, no need to call a meeting. We know that if we are right on the day at Wembley we should win.

"It's tough on Fulham but we want to beat them as well and go to the final on a high note with our fans."
