Teenage midfielder Joe Martin insists his decision to turn down a new deal at Tottenham in favour of joining Blackpool was a "no brainer".
Martin spent the second half of last season on loan at Bloomfield Road and has now made the move permanent, signing a two-year deal.
The England youth international told the club's official website: "It was always going to be hard to get into the first team at Tottenham, but hopefully coming to Blackpool will give me an opportunity to play first-team football at a good club."
Martin added: "They (Spurs) offered me a new deal, but I wasn't really too keen on staying there.
"The opportunities of first-team football are limited and I want to get some experience and play regularly in the first team, so it was a bit of a no brainer for me."
