Fry: Top Posh pair going nowhere

Peterborough director of football Barry Fry has dismissed claims linking Craig Mackail-Smith with Middlesbrough and George Boyd with Tottenham.

Fry has been flooded with enquiries about Mackail-Smith and strike-partner Boyd, following a weekend of speculation.

But he played down reports linking Middlesbrough with Mackail-Smith and Tottenham with Boyd.

"I have had no contact from Harry Redknapp about Boyd or Gordon Strachan about Mackail-Smith so there is nothing in those reports," said Fry.
