West Brom manager Tony Mowbray insists the groin injury that forced Ishmael Miller to pull out of the England Under-21 squad is 'very minor'.
Miller's hopes of winning his first international cap have been dashed by the injury he suffered in Good Friday's 1-1 draw at Charlton.
Mowbray told the club's official website: "It is very minor. I saw Ishmael stretching quite a bit."
The Baggies boss is also hopeful of having midfielders Chris Brunt and James Morrison available after injury when the Championship's bottom club Colchester visit The Hawthorns on Saturday, but Mowbray is unsure when defender Leon Barnett will return.
"Leon has a grade one hamstring injury, which is pretty minor," said Mowbray. "He won't be ready for the weekend, as for the following week, I don't know.
"It could be two to four weeks, but we hope it will be closer to two weeks."
