The 25-year-old is hoping to make his move to the Hawthorns permanent after joining the Baggies on loan in January from Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma.

Despite only making a handful of appearances, Kim is regarded highly by boss Tony Mowbray and talks between the two parties appear to be moving in the right direction.

Kim's agent Jung Jae-hoon revealed West Brom had offered a permanent contract to the midfielder.

"I was informed last week that West Brom are ready to offer a new contract to Kim," he told Yonhap News.

"I cannot disclose the details but a formal offer will be made this week."

"RonniesOK...sorry you are talking rubbish. Firstly the crowd WAS beginning to get at Moore...there were very audible groans and some general derision when he lost he ball prior to his reckless challenge. So..TM has made a 'grave' error...yes, amazimg how bad a decision can be with hindsight isn't it? I was surprised that KP and Ish were on the bench...but I didn't consider it an error, grave or otherwise. If you have a squad of players you use a squad...even Rooney and Ronaldo aren't playing every game. What we don't know is what would have happened if Moore didn't get sent off...was the team good enough to win? We certainly did NOT loose the game due to Moore's inclusion...we may well have lost it due to his sending off, but not solely because he was included. He has yet to prove himself, sure, but he is an U-21 International...it's not like he was picking Heather Mills is it? As for...'a certain type of player that is required at this stage of the season'....hmmmm, who would that be then? Roy of the Rovers? Just how many players do you want...and, if he is required 'at this stage of the season' then presumably you are going to drop someone who has played for the other games? I go to the games...a lot of the time we don't lack anything, other times it looks like we need half a team. The only thing we lacked on Saturday was eleven players on the pitch...and an effective midfield, defence, goalkeeper...who have you got in mind? TM is not infallible...we are NOT a perfect team, but we are a good one and he is a good manager. I pity those poor souls whose glass is forever half-empty. If TM should 'stand up and be counted' (ohhh..per-lease!!!) then should he not be called to apologise every time that we loose a game?"
