West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Mowbray has admitted he will be using Euro 2008 to watch potential transfer targets.
The Baggies boss is still looking to add to his squad and admits he may use the tournament to cast his eye over players before making any offers.
"We have some targets who will be playing for their countries so we will be covering Euro 2008 without blanket coverage because we don't have the resources for that," he told the club's official website.
"We can target specific games and watch specific players but the problem is the rest of the world is watching.
"We might like a player but if he has a particularly good tournament everybody else becomes aware of him and his price goes up.
"The trick is to try and identify them before the tournaments and get them signed before they hit the rest of the world."
