Roberto Di Matteo will have two major transfer decisions to make on his first full day as new West Brom manager at The Hawthorns on Wednesday.
The Italian was appointed as Tony Mowbray's successor on Tuesday night, signing a 12-month rolling contract with the Baggies.
The 39-year-old former MK Dons boss will meet his new charges on Wednesday following their return from a summer break.
But he will have a number of transfer dealings to resolve, with Bolton having reportedly up their bid for Paul Robinson to £750,000 and Albion chairman Jeremy Peace having agreed a £2million fee with Swindon for Simon Cox.
Trotters gaffer Gary Megson wants to be reunited with tenacious left-back Robinson at The Reebok, and had a £500,000 bid rejected last month.
Peace values the 30-year-old in the £1million bracket, but Di Matteo may decide to accept Bolton's new offer as Robinson as he made it clear he wants to leave The Hawthorns this summer.
Albion fans won't be too disappointed if he does move on as Marek Cech is waiting in the wings and impressed on the rare outings he was given under Mowbray, who is now in charge at Celtic.
Robins striker Cox was another Mowbray favourite, and was also linked to the Bhoys while Gordon Strachan held the reins at Parkhead.
But the prolific hitman seems set for a move to the Black Country if Di Matteo gives Peace the green light to discuss personal terms with the 22-year-old, who scored 32 goals last season.
