Championship strugglers Crystal Palace have completed the signing of West Brom striker Craig Beattie on a one-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old Scotland international, who joined the Baggies for £1million from Celtic in 2007, has managed just two substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season.
"I had a call to say Crystal Palace wanted me to come down and I was delighted to be getting the chance to have some games," Beattie told Palace's official website.
"I am looking forward to the chance to help the club climb the table and hopefully that will start straight away this weekend."
Beattie's signing eases Palace's striker crisis which has seen Alan Lee, James Scowcroft and Calvin Andrew all suffer injuries, and he will go straight into the squad for the televised clash at Ipswich on Saturday.
