Howard completes Blades switch
Sheffield United have confirmed the signing of Brian Howard on a permanent transfer from fellow Championship side Barnsley.

The former Southampton and Swindon midfielder initially moved to Bramall Lane on loan with a view to a permanent deal in October 2008 and the full transfer has now been rubber stamped.
Howard netted his only United goal to date in the 1-0 victory at Nottingham Forest last month.
