Robbie Fowler looks set to extend his stay at Cardiff for another season after his representative admitted that is the most likely scenario.
The Bluebirds have the option to extend Fowler's contract by a further season, but the former Liverpool forward has spent much of the campaign injured on the sidelines.
Fowler's agent George Scott has revealed the 33-year-old will make a decision on his future after the FA Cup final on May 17 - a game in which he could still feature after recovering from a hip problem.
"Robbie needs to sit down in the summer and decide what he wants to do in the future," Scott told the Western Mail.
"At a push, in all probability, he will stay, but you do not want to be rushed into anything when there is the opportunity to take your time about it.
"I know the chairman (Peter Ridsdale) and manager at Cardiff want Robbie to stay. I think Dave Jones is well aware of what Robbie is capable of. It is just a matter of thinking things through now."

"Well, am sure they will try to keep Robbie, and now that he sorted his problem out(hip), he will be the key man for the promotion of the Bluebirds next season. He still has a few years to play, and being a natural borned striker and still hungry to play you should expect 30+ goals next season. Robbie YNWA"
