Coventry manager Chris Coleman is aiming to bring in a loan signing to replace injured full-back Stephen Wright before the end of the week.
Wright suffered an Achilles injury in the 3-1 Carling Cup win over Aldershot last month, and Coleman is keen to find a suitable candidate during the international break.
He told the club's official website: "We're hoping to have something done by the end of the week in terms of bringing in a loan player at the right-back position.
"Wrighty's still injured so we'd like an extra option in that position at the moment so hopefully we can get something done in the next few days."
The former Fulham boss will be keen to bring in fresh legs ahead of the Sky Blues' next league encounter against high-flying Preston on September 13.
