Coleman: Gray move suited everyone

Manager Chris Coleman insists there are no hard feelings towards Julian Gray after he left Coventry to join Fulham on a season-long loan.

Gray: Fulham move

The 28-year-old completed his move to Craven Cottage on transfer deadline day, and Coleman has wished him well at his former club.

He told the club's official website: "I spoke with Roy (Hodgson) and he expressed his interest in Julian, and obviously with less than 12 months left on his contract, Jules is free to speak to whoever he likes.

"Fulham is a Premier League club and everyone wants to play in the Premier League. Once Jules heard Fulham were interested he was obviously very keen on the move and from our point of view we thought it suited all parties.

"We still have plenty of options in terms of left-sided players with Leon McKenzie, Jay Tabb and Michael Mifsud and for the duration of his move we wish Julian all the best."
