Best: We must perform from the off

Coventry striker Leon Best knows his side need to start performing from the first whistle if they are to end their seven-game winless streak.

Best: Scored eighth of season at weekend

An impressive second-half performance on Saturday secured a deserved 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace albeit extending the club's winless streak to seven games.

The Sky Blues have gone behind on four occasions during that unwanted run, including three times inside the opening five minutes. That compares to a promising start to the season where, in the opening 10 games, they lost just once having scored first.

Best, speaking after his eighth goal of the campaign rescued a point at the Ricoh Arena, told Sky Blues Player: "I definitely feel we could have got the three points, I think we outshone Palace in the end and that's a massive positive.

"I think we're getting used to coming back from losing and playing well after we've had a bad spell. If we can keep it up from the start and play as we do when we finish it would be a different scenario.

"First half we were edgy, second half I think we did really well. Second half we deserved more and could have got more."
