Crewe trialists Jake Buxton and Eddie Johnson will be given another chance to impress when they take on Wrexham on Tuesday evening.
Former Mansfield defender Buxton and striker Johnson, who was released by Bradford, both impressed in last week's win over Quorn, with Johnson - who had a loan spell at Gresty Road in 2005/06 - scoring twice in that game.
And assistant boss Neil Baker told the Sentinel: "For us it will be another chance to look at Buxton and Johnson and will be a good test for them.
"We'll sit down and talk with Jake soon after the game. He's done well so far, we'll see what happens."
