David Jones could be set for a switch to Wolves or Preston after Derby chairman Adam Pearson admitted he is expecting bids for the midfielder.
Paul Jewell is planning a major overhaul of his squad this summer and Jones is one of the many players the Rams boss is prepared to let go.
Jones has scored seven times in 47 appearances for Derby since joining from Manchester United and Jewell is looking to recoup the full £1million he cost.
Wolves and Preston are thought to be leading the chase for Jones and Pearson has now confirmed there is likely to be interest in the 23-year-old.
"We are expecting some interest in David Jones from one or two Championship clubs," he said.
The Wales international could be one of up to 10 players leaving Pride Park over the summer.
