Teenage Derby County prospect Jason Beardsley has joined League Two outfit Notts County for a three-month loan spell.
The 18-year-old Academy product will link up with Ian McParland's Magpies until October to gain experience of first-team football.
The Burton-born defender made his senior Rams debut in a Carling Cup tie with Blackpool in August 2007.
He was also an unused substitute three times in the Premier League last season, his first as a professional player.
