Midfielder Paul Green believes Derby have a great chance of winning promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
The 25-year-old signed a three-year deal after leaving Doncaster and revealed the prospect of promotion played a big part in his decision.
Green told the club's official website: "Having come down from the Premier League, the club has great prospects to bounce back.
"Playing in the Premier League is a big aim for me - that's where you want to play your football, and that prospect was one of the biggest things to bring me here.
"This is a fantastic club with a Premier League set-up and I believe this is the right move for me, otherwise I wouldn't have come.
"We have made a lot of signings over the summer so we have got strength in depth and a good squad to try and shoot straight back up."
