Derby have signed Poland international midfielder Przemyslaw Kazmierczak on a season-long loan from Portuguese champions Porto.
The 26-year-old becomes County manager Paul Jewell's 11th signing since the club was relegated from the Premier League.
The 6ft 3ins Kazmierczak started his career in his home country at LKS Lodz and also played for Piotrcovia Piortkow Trybunalski and Pogin Szczecin before moving to Portugal with Boavista in 2006.
He joined Porto in July last year and was involved in their Champions League campaign, starting against Liverpool at Anfield.
Kazmierczak made his international debut in 2006 and has gone on to earn nine caps for Poland, scoring one goal.
