Albrechtsen ruled out for a month

Derby central defender Martin Albrechtsen faces a month on the sidelines after undergoing a hernia operation.

The 28-year-old missed Saturday's 2-1 triumph at Norwich due to a niggling groin problem.

And with the Dane on top form for the Rams in recent weeks, manager Paul Jewell admits his side will feel Albrechtsen's absence.

He told the club's official site: "Martin has had the operation that will probably keep him out for a minimum of four weeks, which is disappointing for us."
