Northampton manager Stuart Gray admits he is in the dark over the future of defender Andy Todd who is on loan from Championship side Derby.
Gray revealed he had agreed with Paul Jewell to keep the veteran centre-back for a further month, but with the former Wigan boss departing from Pride Park, Gray conceded the deal has been thrown into uncertainty with Chris Hutchings in temporary charge of the Championship outfit.
Having recently seen Kyle Walker return to Sheffield United, Gray told the club's official website: "Fingers crossed we won't lose Andy Todd as well but with Paul Jewell leaving Derby you never know what might happen.
"I'd agreed with Paul Jewell that Andy would stay for another month but with Chris Hutchings now in charge he might want to bring him back to add a bit of experience."
