Rams tell Canaries to up striker bid

Derby have rejected two bids from Norwich for striker Liam Dickinson - but is willing to do business at the right price.

Dickinson, a £750,000 signing from Stockport last summer, has failed to make a single appearance for the Rams and spent most of last season out on loan at Huddersfield, Blackpool and Leeds.

The relegated Canaries are keen to take the 23-year-old to Carrow Road, but Pearson labelled their initial offers as "small".

Derby chairman Adam Pearson told the club's official website: "Norwich are showing some interest in Liam and have made two small offers.

"If the offer is somewhere close to what we feel is acceptable, we would consider it but the offers have not been at that level."
