Shefki Kuqi could make his second full Ipswich debut against QPR this weekend as he continues to make progress from a hamstring injury.
Kuqi has not featured for Town since he was stretchered off just 10 minutes into his Portman Road return, as a substitute in a 2-0 win over Charlton.
However he is now in line to make a return this weekend.
Physio Matt Byard told the club's official website: "Shefki is continuing to make a very good recovery. He will carry on his rehabilitation and we will have another look at him on Thursday to see how we stand for the weekend."
The Crystal Palace striker is on loan at his former club until the end of the season after making obscene gestures to the crowd in the Eagles' 2-0 home defeat by Wolves in February.
