Skacel: Ipswich target

Town boss Jim Magilton has held talks with Skacel after the two clubs agreed a fee for the player, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Hertha Berlin.

There is interest from other clubs but the player's agent Pavel Zika admits Ipswich are favourites for Skacel's signature.

"Ipswich look like the most likely option, but still nothing is signed yet," Zika told deniksport.cz. "There are still some clubs in the game but are not as specific as Ipswich are."

Zika has also refuted reports that Skacel is unhappy with the offer made to him from Ipswich.

"This has not been problem at all. Money have played no important role in the negotiations," added Zika.
