Hatters swoop for stopper Logan

Luton have swooped to sign Leicester City goalkeeper Conrad Logan on loan until January, subject to approval by the Football League.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper has found his chances limited at the Walkers Stadium, with Paul Henderson and on-loan keeper David Martin both ahead of him in the pecking order.

Nigel Pearson told the Foxes' official website: "Conrad wants to play first-team football and, with two other good goalkeepers here, I felt it would be best for both parties if he went out on loan and gained further experience."

Logan spent last season on loan at Stockport County. He made 38 appearances for the Edgeley Park Club, and helped them to defeat Rochdale 3-2 in the League Two play-off final at Wembley.

He will now turn his attentions to League Two survival at Kenilworth Road, as Luton aim to overcome their massive 30-point deduction.

Logan provides back-up to Dean Brill, who was the only goalkeeper in the Hatters' matchday squad in the 1-0 win over Gillingham.
