Forest aim to unearth French talent

Nottingham Forest scout David Friio is hopeful of bringing further talent to the City Ground from France after the signing of Guy Moussi.

Friio is Forest's France-based scout and recommended Moussi to boss Colin Calderwood.

Moussi snubbed several top-flight French clubs to move to Forest from SCO Angers but Friio does not want to stop there.

He said: "It is my first signing for Forest. There are a couple more guys coming across, although they will probably be at a youth level.

"But it is good because I have done my job, I have a great relationship with Colin and Keith (Burt).

"I have done my homework, they have done theirs and we had a list of players. I am glad that the one that worked out is the one that was at the top of my list."
