New Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has recalled striker Emile Sinclair from his loan spell with Blue Square Premier side Mansfield.
The 21-year-old joined the Stags on an initial one-month loan in October and scored four goals in 18 appearances.
Sinclair's form prompted Mansfield to extend his loan twice and he was due to return to the City Ground later this month.
However, Forest manager Davies has recalled Sinclair early as he bids to assess his squad.
"We would like to thank Emile for his work rate and commitment to our club whilst under our direction, and we hope he has a long and successful career in football," Mansfield manager David Holdsworth told the club's official website.
