Heidar Helguson is in line for his QPR debut on Saturday against Crystal Palace after finally sealing his loan switch from Bolton.
The deal looked to have fallen through over the weekend when Helguson was absent from the squad which travelled to Watford and reports surfaced linking the striker with a move to Tuesday night's opponents Charlton.
But the 31-year-old Icelander is back in west London and in line for a place in Paulo Sousa's squad for the trip to Selhurst Park on Saturday.
"This is a good opportunity for me to play first-team football," he told Rangers' official website. "I need to be playing regular football and hopefully I'll get the chance to do that here."
