Davies makes Shots loan switch

Reading midfielder Scott Davies has agreed a season-long loan move with newly-promoted League Two outfit Aldershot.

The 21-year-old was with the Shots last season and, after scoring on the opening day of the season at Kidderminster, went on to score 10 goals in 29 league appearances.

Davies was recently awarded the Blue Square goal of the season for his last-minute strike at Plainmoor which gave the Shots a vital win over Torquay back in March.
