The 25-year-old has secured a three-year contract with the Championship side after United agreed an undisclosed fee thought to be around £600,000.

The Irishman will join his new team-mates, including brother Stephen, in Sweden on Thursday.

Kitson joined Stoke last week in a £5.5million deal.
