Megson lining up second Bullard bid
Bolton boss Gary Megson is ready to make a fresh move for Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard after giving up on signing Reading's James Harper.

Megson has given up hope of signing Harper and claims Fulham have rejected his side's initial offer for Bullard.
Bullard's future at Craven Cottage has been the subject of intense speculation with the club refusing to discuss a new contract with the energetic midfielder.
Megson is keen to bolster his squad before the close of the transfer window and he has hinted he could make a second bid for Bullard.
"We've made an offer for Bullard and it wasn't accepted, so we will have to see where we go now," Megson told the Sunday Mirror.
"But the Harper thing has been going on for so long now that it has run its course.
"Steve Coppell and Reading don't obviously want to sell, so on that basis we will move on."

"I accept we're No ManU, but why does everyone think that Bolton is some kind of second rate team? the last 8 years we've stayed int he premiership and in those years got into europe twice and made some excellent top half finishes. If any other team finsihed as well as we have in the last few years they would call them highly rated. If you're at Bolton tho, then ur set for relegation. The same stupid people make the same stupid predictions year-on-year. Lay off Bolton. We may not win the premier league, but we're working towards being an established force. We did finish poorly last season, but that was last season, and this is now. "
