Republic of Ireland international Kevin Doyle would have been happy to play in Georgia despite the current tensions in the former Soviet state.
The Reading striker is part of the squad that was due to play their opening 2010 World Cup qualifier in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi on Saturday.

Doyle's Royals team-mates Stephen Hunt and Shane Long are also in the squad.
