Howard keen to see goals shared

Reading midfielder Brian Howard has called for his team-mates to get on the goal trail and help the Royals climb away from the relegation zone.

Howard has scored just once since his move from Sheffield United but wants the whole side to contribute and help Brendan Rodgers' side climb the Championship table.

He said: "You need goals from all over the pitch. Marek Matejovsky and I have spoken about it and said we'd like to chip in a bit more.

"The wide boys can grab a few goals and likewise we've got some big, strong centre-halves here so from corners and free-kicks they should be picking up goals.

"It is a team game so we can't just be relying on the boys up front to get them."
