Craig Moore is the only domestic-based player named in Pim Verbeek's Australia squad for the World Cup qualifier in Bahrain on November 19.
The Queensland Roar player is part of the 24-man Socceroos squad looking to maintain their 100% record in the final stage of qualifying.
Harry Kewell, Mark Bresciano and Vince Grella - who all missed the 4-0 win over Qatar in Brisbane last month through injury - are also included while midfielder Carl Valeri returns after missing the Qatar rout due to suspension.
Grella was substituted with a slight hamstring complaint during Blackburn's loss to Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday, and Verbeek will await further medical advice regarding the midfielder's fitness.
The surprise of the squad was the selection of uncapped Adam Federici as the back-up goalkeeper to Mark Schwarzer following recent strong form with English First Division club Southend, where he is on loan from Reading.
Federici, who was in goal for the Olyroos during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, is the only uncapped player in the squad.
A total of 10 English-based players make the squad, with Celtic's Scott McDonald also in the party.
Australia squad: Mark Schwarzer (Fulham), Adam Federici (Southend), Michael Petkovic (Sivasspor); Chris Coyne (Colchester), Craig Moore (Queensland Roar), Lucas Neill (West Ham), Matthew Spiranovic (Nurnberg), Luke Wilkshire (Dinamo Moscow), Shane Stefanutto (Lyn Oslo); Mark Bresciano (Palermo), Jacob Burns (Unirea), Tim Cahill (Everton), David Carney (Sheffield United), Jason Culina (PSV Eindhoven), Brett Emerton (Blackburn), Richard Garcia (Hull City), Vinnie Grella (Blackburn), Brett Holman, Mile Sterjovski (Derby), Carl Valeri (Grosetto); Bruce Djite (Genclerbirligi), Josh Kennedy (Karlsruhe), Harry Kewell (Galatasaray), Scott McDonald (Celtic).
