Henderson sits out a one-game ban under the totting-up procedure and Kevin Blackwell must continue to mix and match due to an on-going injury crisis at Bramall Lane.

Left-back Derek Geary (knee) proved his fitness again with a midweek run-out for the reserves and Lee Williamson (back) is also in contention.

Centre-half Matthew Kilgallon appears set to shake off an ankle injury, fellow defender Andrew Davies, on loan from Stoke, has recovered from a hip problem and Jordan Stewart (calf) is available again.

Striker Ched Evans and Kyle Walker are expected back from international duty unscathed.

But Blackwell will still be without Gary Naysmith (knee), Richard Cresswell (ribs), Nick Montgomery (knee), Ian Bennett (thumb) and Paddy Kenny (drugs ban).
