Griffin: Potters must have no fear

Stoke skipper Andy Griffin insists his side will not take any notice of reputations ahead of the trip to Manchester City on Sunday.

The Potters' backline are set for one of their sternest tests of the season when they face Robinho, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Jo at Eastlands.

"I'm not really bothered who I mark or play against. They have signed Robinho, who's fantastic, and they've got Shaun Wright-Phillips, who I think is very direct with the ball, so they're a talented team," Griffin told the club's official website.

"It'll be great to go to such a fantastic stadium and play against those players but at the end of the day no matter how good you are as a football player, you are still just a human being.

"We'll have that attitude, go out and give it our all and hopefully get a result.

"Obviously it's an honour to be in the Premier League and to play against great players but it's just another game."
