Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Jan Lastuvka is hoping to secure a return to the Premier League by wrapping up a move to West Ham.
Lastuvka, who spent a season on loan with Fulham, is eager to return to the Premier League, but admits that negotiations between the two clubs have stalled in recent days.
The 26-year-old believes that the problem has arisen with the two sides unable to agree on a fee for his services.
Lastuvka told CTK: "The offer from West Ham is there. The club wants me and going back to the English league is definitely interesting and alluring.
"Unfortunately, the negotiations have become very complicated on certain matters.
"I will not comment on any figures, but in general we were almost agreed with West Ham when the transfer fee increased very much all of a sudden.
"Since Monday the discussions have appeared to me very strange and under those conditions I don't rush into anything."
There is still hope that a deal will be concluded, but Lastuvka admits that the continued stalemate is a concern.
He added: "We have not ended the talks, they still go on, but we cannot delay it much."

"All i remember about this guy was him being dreadful on a few MOTD highlights. Id much rather jimmy walker be our number-2 'keeper. The guy hardly gets a look in after being on fire during our championship promotion season."
