Leyton Orient defender Alton Thelwell admits he is looking forward to next season after committing his future to the club.
The 27-year-old - who signed a new one-year contract on Thursday - has insisted the Os can build on their mid-table finish this season and challenge for promotion.
He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to have signed a new contract and I'm really looking forward to next season.
"We have the quality to compete, and with a bit of luck we can put together a more sustained challenge in 2008/09.
"We were disappointed not to make the play-offs this year, so after the summer break we will come back raring to go for the challenge."
