Brighton are close to bringing winger Darren Currie back to the south coast after agreeing terms with troubled League Two outfit Luton.
Boss Micky Adams has swooped for the player who, as a free transfer, spent a memorable four months at the Withdean back in 2004 before Ipswich stumped up £250,000 for him.
However, the 33-year-old still has to resolve his contractual situation at Kenilworth Road.
"Everything has been agreed with Darren. We are just waiting for the paperwork to be signed," Adams told the Argus.
Currie would be Adams' fifth signing since he returned to the club, joining Colin Hawkins, Kevin McLeod, Adam Virgo and David Livermore.
