McAllister closing in on new face

Leeds United boss Gary McAllister is close to completing his fourth summer signing after agreeing terms with an unnamed player.

McAllister, who is in the hunt for another striker, refused to give more details.

He told the club's official website: "I don't want to show our cards too much, but we have agreed terms with a club for another player.

"It's not completed and I'd rather wait before I say who it is."

Leeds have drafted in Andy Robinson and Enoch Showunmi and made Alan Sheehan a permanent signing so far this summer.

Canada Under-21 international Marcus Haber and former Scotland international Paul Telfer have joined up with the squad in Ireland where Leeds are preparing for their friendly against Galway.
