Experienced Swindon defender Hasney Aljofree has been ruled out of Friday's League One encounter with Hartlepool at Victoria Park.
Aljofree has played in all but one of Swindon's games so far this season, but has been laid low by a viral infection.
Patrick Kanyuka and Jerel Ifil are now primed to deputise for Aljofree against Pools.
"Hasney has a viral infection and won't travel with the squad to Hartlepool," confirmed Robins boss Maurice Malpas.
"He is an experienced player as we will miss that, but it is something we will have to deal with."
